Warranty Terms and Conditions

This warranty is given by Orion Computers Limited (“Orion”, “we”, “us”) to the original purchaser of a product bought directly from orioncomputers.co.uk.

It applies only to purchases made through our own website. If you bought your product through a marketplace or deals platform (for example Amazon, Back Market, eBay, Wowcher, Go Groopie, onBuy, Temu, Groupon, Shein or Rebeloo), your purchase is covered by the terms of that platform and you must contact them directly to raise a return or warranty claim.

This warranty is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your legal rights as a consumer.

We warrant that your product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use, for 12 months from the date of delivery.

Accessories supplied with the product — including the power adapter or charger, cables, and any other bundled items — are covered for 60 days from the date of delivery.

Proof of purchase — your order number or order confirmation email — is required for any claim.

Within the applicable warranty period we will repair or replace, free of charge, any product that develops a fault caused by defective materials or workmanship under normal use. This includes:

• Failure of internal hardware components such as the mainboard, memory, storage drive, display panel, cooling fan, speakers, camera or ports
• Battery failure where the battery no longer charges or holds a usable charge as a result of a defect rather than normal wear
• Faults with the supplied power adapter, charger or other bundled accessories, reported within the 60-day accessory warranty period set out in section 2

Where a product is repaired or replaced, the remainder of the original warranty period continues to apply. Repair or replacement does not restart the 12-month period.

This warranty does not cover:

• Accidental damage, drops, impact, crushed or cracked screens and casings
• Liquid damage or damage caused by exposure to moisture, heat, dust or extreme conditions
• Misuse, neglect, unauthorised modification, or repair or opening of the product by anyone other than Orion or a repairer approved by us
• Cosmetic wear that does not affect function — scratches, scuffs, marks, discolouration and faded key legends. Where a product was sold as used, refurbished or graded, the cosmetic condition described in the listing at the time of sale is the agreed condition and is not a fault
• Gradual reduction in battery capacity through normal charge cycles, which is expected behaviour in all rechargeable batteries
• Software issues, operating system faults, viruses and malware, corrupted or lost data, forgotten passwords, and any account or activation lock applied by you or a previous owner
• Consumable and wear items, and third-party accessories or peripherals not supplied by us
• Products where the serial number or asset label has been removed, altered or made illegible
• Faults arising from use of a power adapter, charger or component not supplied or approved by us
• Any product bought other than directly from orioncomputers.co.uk

Unresponsive or faulty keyboard keys must be reported to us within 30 days of delivery to qualify for a return, replacement or refund on that basis.

If keyboard keys are reported after that 30-day window, the fault may still be repairable under warranty. Please tell us which specific keys are affected and we will assess whether a repair is possible. In these cases we will offer a repair rather than a return or refund.

Before you contact us — laptop not charging or not turning on. Please check whether there is a light near the charging port and note its colour, and if you are able to, try the laptop with a different charger. If the laptop powers up on another charger, the charger is at fault rather than the laptop, and we will send you a replacement charger straight away, provided it is within the 60-day accessory warranty period.

Returning your product. Where the product needs to come back to us, we will email you a returns form together with either a prepaid postage label or a Royal Mail QR code link. With the QR code you do not need a printer — simply show the code on your phone at a Post Office and the parcel will be labelled and processed there. Please place the completed returns form inside the parcel with the item.

Please keep your Post Office proof-of-postage receipt safe and make a note of the tracking number, in case the parcel is delayed or lost in transit.

Return postage. We cover the cost of return postage for warranty claims for 12 months from the date of purchase. Return postage is not covered where the product is returned because you have changed your mind — see section 8.

Before sending anything to us, please back up your files and remove any personal data, and sign out of and remove any accounts or activation locks. We cannot recover data from a returned product and are not responsible for data lost during repair or replacement.

Once we receive your returned product we will inspect it and, at our option, repair it or send you a replacement. Where a replacement is sent, it may be a product of the same or a comparable specification, and may be a refurbished unit of equivalent condition and functionality.

If we are unable to repair or replace the product, we will offer you a refund.

If our inspection finds no fault, or finds that the fault is not covered by this warranty, we will contact you before taking any further action and will return the product to you. In those circumstances we may ask you to cover the cost of return carriage.

This warranty covers faults. It is separate from our returns policy.

If you simply no longer want the product, you may return it to us within 30 days of delivery provided it is unused and in its original condition and packaging. For change-of-mind returns you are responsible for arranging and paying for return postage, and we do not issue a prepaid label or QR code. Please contact us for the returns address before sending anything back.

This warranty is given to the original purchaser and is not transferable if the product is sold or passed on.

Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product, or a refund of the purchase price paid. We are not liable for loss of data, loss of profit, loss of business, or any other indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

This warranty and any dispute arising from it are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
